6 Months

Reagan is already 6 months old and it's gone by so fast!
We always thought Lorelai was the happiest baby in the world, until we had Reagan.
She always has a smile and such a contagious laugh!

Stats:

Weight: 13lbs 3 oz (10%)

Height: 25 3/4 in. (50%)

Head Circ: 42 1/2 cm. (60%)

She can now roll over both ways, for a long time she would get about 3/4 of the way to her tummy then just hang out.
She has even more hair than Lorelai did, here she is sportin' some pigtails. I think there is a chance her hair will actually stay brown, her eyes are no longer blue, they are kind of a brown color.
She took to rice cereal pretty well, and does not have patience when it comes to eating. The second she sees a bottle being prepared or cereal being made she lets you know she is impatiently waiting!
She is getting much better at sitting up by herself and is anxious to be able to crawl but hasn't quite figured out how to make her legs do that yet. She really doesn't appreciate when I put a toy out in front of her, just out of reach!
She loves her big sister the most and Lorelai loves having her around! Lorelai is always looking out for Reagan, if Reagan is ever crying Lorelai is right there telling me what she thinks Reagan wants!
We love our happy, tiny, sweet little girl!

Happy Birthday Lorelai!

My little girl turned 2 on Halloween!

We had fun celebrating Lorelai's birthday this year, I just wish we could have celebrated with all of our family! Since her birthday is on Halloween, we decided to do some fun stuff the day before. We spent Friday together as a family.
First we spent a couple hours at Monkey Bizness, Lorelai had a blast playing on all the inflatable toys! Then we had lunch at one of Lorelai's favorite places; Red Robin. She gets so excited every time they give her a balloon!
After that we went and walked around the pet store in the mall and looked at all the puppies, then spent some time in the Disney store!
Both Lorelai and Reagan were pretty tired at this point, but when we got home and she saw her presents and cupcakes, she found a little extra energy!
These are the "puppy" cupcakes I made for her birthday!

What's up with the Girls!

I really haven't posted about the girls lately so here's what's been going on!

Lorelai:
23 Months!! I can't believe it.
She is the best big sister in the world, always taking care of Reagan and making her laugh! She loves to do puzzles and will do the same one over and over again! If she is doing puzzles she is playing with her baby doll (she is such a little mom)!
She is unstoppable, stubborn, hilarious, independent, cute and still an angel all at the same time.

Reagan:
Already 4 months!
She is learning so quickly, she rolled over for the first time about a month ago, but still doesn't do it very often. She has been sleeping through the night almost since she was born, but really well for the last couple months. I am loving 10-12 hour nights! Constant smiles and loves to laugh out loud! She is so sweet, low maintenance and just happy all the time!

We have been so blessed with such amazing little girls, being a mom is the best!
A little painting fun! I think we ended up with more on her than the papers!

Happy Girl!

Just chillin'

How do you even sleep in that position? Any chance to be with her sister!

She looks like she is about to fall out of the swing!
Love that smile!
We went to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, and Lorelai didn't care at all about the games but freaked out every time the tickets started coming out!
Laughing at Great Grandma Maynes!

Preston turns 27!!

I'm a little behind, Preston's birthday was actually August 28th. I did a terrible job taking pictures as usual so here's the best I got.
That morning we woke up early and went for a little hike, the weather was great and it was a perfect start to our day! Next in line was massages, so fantastic, so relaxing!

We spent the rest of the afternoon with the girls relaxing and playing with Preston's new toys he got for his birthday! Among his presents Preston got a RC Helicopter, 3d puzzle and Transformer's lunch box. That's right he just turned 27 not 7!That evening we had our traditional Cheesecake Factory for dinner and topped the night off with Ice Cream and a movie at home. Not super exciting, but it was so nice to relax and not have a full, nonstop day !

Potty Trained!!!

After three long days, and a couple weeks to really get it down, Lorelai is potty trained! She hasn't worn a diaper since day 1 of potty training, I love only having to change one baby's diaper! On the other hand, I hate being at the grocery store with a basket full of stuff, when suddenly she has to go potty! Thanks Ashley for your help and listening to me vent when it was harder than I expected!

Portland Trip

The Beginning of August we took a little trip to Portland for a few days. We had such a great time and enjoyed getting away, but I don't think I would ever want to live in Portland. There was lots of great things to do though and we stayed pretty busy while we were there.
The best way to get around downtown is their light rail system, at first Lorelai wasn't too sure about this, but she quickly decided it was fun!
This is a view of Portland from their Aerial tram.

We spent some time at the Oregon museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), it was huge, Lorelai couldn't get enough!

Lorelai saw these lockers at OMSI and ran over and climbed right in then closed the door. We could have only played with the lockers and she would have been happy!

This stubborn little girl refused to ever look at the camera when I tried to take pictures!

A couple of hot weather forecasters!
One day we drove out to Cannon beach which was a little over an hour away and spent the day walking around all the little shops. It was such a cute little town. The amount of time we spent actually on the beach was about as long as it took to get a couple pictures because Lorelai hated the sand! She would not walk in it, needless to say we did not play on the beach.

This is pretty much what Reagan did the entire trip!

The first day we were there we went to the Children's Museum. Lorelai definitely loved it.
They had a bunch of different themed rooms. There was grocery shopping, a dig pit, a treehouse storytelling room, etc.

This room had a stage with tons of costumes and as you can see Lorelai was the director!

She really loved the train room.
They also had a water room, with tons of fun activities, Lorelai mostly just observed in this room!

Brushing the Alligator's teeth!

Here we are in the doctor's office, where she took care of babies and looked at x-rays!

On deck!
Also while we were there we visited the Japanese Gardens which were beautiful, but I left my camera in the car! We did tons of shopping while we were there because Portland has way better options than Boise! It was so great to be able to spend some time just the 4 of us away from all our usual daily demands! But as always we were happy to get home!
