Grandpa and Grandma Miller's visit Part 1

In August my mom and dad came to visit for a week. We had such a great time with them and were sad to see them go, but after sleeping on an air mattress for a week they were probably ready!

While they were here we also celebrated Preston's birthday and we got a chance to go out on a date while grandma and grandpa watched the girls!

Grandpa and Lorelai's daily routine; nap time!

While they were here we went to a parade and the girls had a blast!
This is the best we could get Lorelai to wave.

This was her face everytime she got some candy! She would run, pick it up, then run back to her chair, put it in the cup holder and go back for more!

Watching the parade!

Silverwood Amusement Park

Back in August Preston needed to make a quick trip to Spokane, so we tagged along and took the rest of the day and went to Silverwood. There were actually a lot of rides the girls could go on, so it was really fun! They also had a water park, needless to say by the end of the day we were all worn out!

Lorelai was able to go on quite a few rides by herself, most of the time she looked bored as can be, but then when it was time to get off she would beg to go again!

Camping!

We were able to take the girls on their first camping trip back in July and had so much fun. We hiked around a little, visited a dam with a huge fish hatchery and Preston taught Lorelai to shoot his air soft gun. We went to an area up close to Portland and it was so green and beautiful! We hoped to go again before the summer was over, but never got a chance, here are a few pics from our trip in no particular order!

3 Years Old!

Happy Birthday sweet little Lorelai!
3 year stats:
weight: 38 lbs (93%)
height: 38 in. (75 %)

Lorelai LOVES Tinkerbell so of course she wanted a Tinkerbell birthday cake and insisted on wearing her tinkerbell costume when we did cake and presents! Grandpa House was visiting during her birthday so it was fun to have him there and the rest of her grandparents got to be part of the celebration via webcam!

I tried to keep it simple and ended up putting her cake together really quick, so it's nothing crazy but she was happy!
The day after her birthday we went to Chuck E Cheese's and played games for a while, the girl's had a blast, they could not get enough! Then we finished the evening with dinner at Lorelai's favorite place; Red Robin.
She has been talking about going there for her birthday and getting sang to for months! It was so fun to celebrate her birthday this year, she is getting big so fast!
Some of her favorites are Tinkerbell, legos, dress up, playing with her barbies and bossing around all of us!
She loves learning of any kind especially if it's on the computer or in her dry erase learning book.
She wants to help with everything and she loves entertaining Reagan. She always wants to use her pretend stethoscope to check on "mommy's baby"!
This little girl can drive me crazy one minute and be such a sweetheart the next, she is such a blessing in our home! We love you Lorelai, Happy Birthday!

Halloween 2010

Tinkerbell and a cute little butterfly!
...and don't forget Mr. Slice!

The girls' had so much fun dressing up this year, Lorelai could hardly wait to dress up like Tinkerbell! The look on her face when her costume was on and she had "Tinkerbell hair" was absolutely priceless as she looked at herself in the mirror.
And Reagan was beaming all night as well, she quickly caught on to the trick or treating concept and couldn't get enough!
We first went to the mall Saturday afternoon for a Halloween scavenger hunt and then to our ward trunk or treat Saturday night.
One of my favorite moments was when Lorelai heard a girl that worked at Macy's say, "there goes Tinkerbell" and Lorelai's face lit up because she knew the girl thought she was tinkerbell!
Happy Halloween!

It's A...

I know this post is so overdue, but as one might have noticed I have kind of been out the blogging world for a while...so better late than never!
Anyways...We went to the doctor in August while my parents were here and I had an ultrasound that showed us we are having a...
BOY!!!

We are pretty darn excited! I am now about 28 weeks along and in a lot of ways the time has flown by, in others not so much! I am a little nervous because I have no idea what to do with a boy, but we are looking forward to the adventure and the girls can't wait for him to get here!

All in all, I have had a pretty easy pregnancy, it has been my least favorite of the three and I feel like I am so much more uncomfortable already than I was at this point with the girls'. Also I have been getting a lot more braxton hicks this time around, but nothing too terrible!

...We're just hoping Lorelai eventually gives in to the fact that she probably won't win the name battle and decides she's ok with the name we've picked!

Aug 16, 2010

I have plenty of posts to catch up on, but have been without my computer. The only time I manage to get on Preston's computer is early in the morning or late at night. So here's hoping I have a computer soon!

It seems like we've had a lot going on lately and not that much all at the same time.
Soon to come:
Baby #3's gender (we find out next week!)
Camping trip pics
Our day at Silverwood
Updates on our sweet girls and perhaps a prego pic (maybe).

One of our latest highlights is that Reagan finally has decided to start walking! She has been able to take a few steps at a time for like a month, but in the last week has become quite the little walker! Now to expand her vocabulary! Although as sassy as her sister is, maybe I shouldn't be in too big of a hurry for her to talk!

In the meantime we're just living life and loving watching our little girls learn new things every single day!
