Who's, who?

People keep asking if Reagan looks like Lorelai did as a baby, you be the judge here is a picture of each of them!

More Reagan

We were able to come home Sunday morning, then Sunday evening Grandma Miller arrived and spent the next week taking care of us. The day after she left Grandma Dixon came and took care of us some more. Lorelai loved all the special attention and I loved having so much help and just enjoyed having them each here! Reagan has been a great baby from day 1, she eats good, and sleeps really good! Lorelai loves her little sister and really likes to help any way she can!

Our Family

Grandma Miller bought the girls these cute matching dresses, it was so fun

to dress them up cute for church like this!

Grandma Dixon and Reagan

Lorelai loves to hold Reagan for a few seconds at a time, but we've really had to

work on teaching to use her hands to hold her up : )

Lorelai already loves her sister!

Here's the Story

I know it has taken me forever to update, but there's been a lot going on. So let's start at the beginning; Reagan's entrance into the world!

Friday, May 22nd;

-Went to the doctor very distraught that Reagan was still not here, the doctor informed me my cervix was very posterior which was probably why she hadn't come yet and tried to move it forward hoping that would help put me into labor.

-At about 5:30p.m. while playing at the park with Lorelai the contractions began but were still far apart and minor.

-Approx. 8 p.m. we dropped Lorelai off at our friend's house to spend the night and headed to the hospital.

-approx. 9:30 returned home after being told that despite being dilated to a 4 I was either in early labor or my body was just responding to what the doctor had done.

Saturday, May 23rd

-woke up around 1:30 a.m. when my contractions started getting stronger and left again for the hospital around 4:30 in serious pain!

-admitted into the hospital, got the epidural, once it kicked in the doctor broke my water.

-Minutes later I began pushing, on the 3rd contraction she was here!

Reagan Elise House

Our beautiful little Reagan was born on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 7:16 a.m.

Weight: 7lbs. 6oz.

Height: 20.5in.

Please don't judge my appearance, I just had a baby!

Lorelai meeting her little sister!

Lorelai was such a good girl when we were waiting to get Reagan back from her tests so that we could get discharged, she just sat in the room and read her books!

Our pretty little girl!

Our new family of 4! We are so excited to have Reagan here, let the fun begin!

18 Months

Lorelai hit 18 months old a couple weeks ago, here's the stats:

Weight: 24lbs. 13oz. (60%)

Height: 32 1/4 in. (75%)

Head Circumference: 47 1/2 cm (88%)

She is growing so fast, I can't believe she is already 1 1/2 and is going to have a little

sister within the next couple weeks! She is constantly learning so much; she loves looking at books and going to the park!

Cheese!

She is such a good helper, she always wants to help me with everything I do! Everytime I do the laundry she insists on pushing the basket full of clothes from our closet all the way to the laundry room by herself. Whenever I empty the dishwasher she is right there next to me handing me the silverware, any way she can help, she's there!

We have taken her to feed the ducks a couple times at a park near us, which she loves, but she eats half the bread and gives half to the ducks!

The other day I put her laundry basket on her head and she just kept playing
with her toys as if it wasn't even there!

Giving her bunny rabbit big hugs!

On Mother's Day someone in our ward brought a bunch of fresh lilacs that were given to all the women in relief society, so I gave mine to Lorelai after church and she did not want to let go of them. The only way she would happily take a nap after church is if I put the flowers in bed next to her, so here she is sleeping with the lilacs!

We just love our little girl so much, she is constantly full of happiness. We have been so blessed to have such an angel for a little girl, it is so fun to see her learns new words and sounds and how to do new things! We love you Lorelai!

The Girl's Rooms

I've been working on getting the girl's rooms ready for them and for the
most part I am finally done.
This is going to be the baby's room

And this is Lorelai's new room. Lorelai has been sleeping in her big girl bed for
a month or so now and she loves it! Preston's mom made her a super cute picture board and bow holder for her wall and I decided to make her curtains.
Last minute I also decided to make a couple cute chalkboards to hang on her wall.
It has been fun getting everything ready for the baby's coming.
