My friend and I both made a pair after experimenting on an old pair of her daughter's shoes.

I don't have a before picture, but they were previously light blue.

So fun!

The stages of a butterfly!

Lorelai got a butterfly garden for Christmas; she got 4 caterpillars in the mail and got to watch them grow and turn into butterflies! She absolutely loved watching them grow and change and boy to they grow fast!

They were tiny when we first got them; you can see one little one in the picture below.

It only took a few days to like triple in size.

Lorelai was constantly checking on her caterpillars and

wanted to take them everywhere with her!

3 out of the 4 turned into butterflies and silly me I forgot to take a picture! We kept them for a few days then set them free, I was worried Lorelai wouldn't want to let them go, but she actually loved watching them fly away! It was really fun to watch them and Lorelai got really into the whole process!

We Moved!

As many of you know we have been looking at the possibility of moving for months now. We had the opportunity to expand our business by buying a failing Papa John's market in the Spokane, WA area. Let me just tell you, the last couple months have felt like a roller coaster, the deal has been uncertain, to certain, to having fallen through, then back on and when it was finally 100% for sure we had 2 days to finish packing and get on the road!

Well we have been here for a couple weeks now and are finally feeling settled in. We ended up moving to Richland, WA which is in the tri-cities (about 2 hours SW of Spokane). We have already got one of the stores back up and running (they all closed during the buying process) and the 2nd one in tri-cities will be open this week. From there we will begin re-opening 3 stores in the Spokane area which will be managed by one of our former managers from Boise.

The first week we were here we were able to stay with Kent and Ann (my mom's uncle and aunt) while we looked for a home. We found a really nice condo right off the river to rent and really like the area, we were blessed to find a family to rent our home in Boise to last minute; they came and looked at it the day we were moving! We had previously found renters, but had told them nevermind when we thought the deal was off, so we were really excited to be able to get it figured out still before we left and we like these renters better anyway :)

All in all we are happy to be here and look forward to what lies ahead, Preston has been nonstop working to get the stores re-opened since the day we got here and the girls have transitioned really well. Thanks so much to my dad who came and helped us load up the truck and drive here, unload into a storage unit, load back up and unload into our new home, then unpack. We couldn't have done it without him and we loved having him here for over a week! The girls became especially attached and we were sad to see him go, but appreciate all he did, thanks Dad!

Reagan Update!

I know this post is SO far past overdue but there has been a lot going on and I am just plain bad at keeping this thing up to date, sorry!

Reagan has been learning and growing SO much since I last posted about her.

She is now 10 months old, holy cow!

She was so tiny we went in for her check up at 6 months that they had us come

back at 8 months so here's the stats from 2 months ago:

Height: 26.5" (35%)

Weight: 16 lbs 6 oz. (25%)

Head Circumference: 43.5" (55%)

She seems to have been growing a lot more in the last couple months than she was before.

Here's a few things she has learned:

• Sitting up by herself at 7 months
• Dragging herself around at around 8 months
  
  


• Crawling completely at around 9 months
• She got her 1st tooth about 9 months and currently has 2 (both on the bottom)
• In the last 3 weeks she started pulling herself up to standing and now does it every chance she gets!
• Just before 8 months I took the bottles away and switched solely to sippy cups, which she has actually done really well with!
• She will eat any baby food I give her, but if she sees us eating regular food she will fuss until she gets some, no matter what it is!
• She always wants to do whatever her big sister is doing!
• Never without her big wide open smile!
• She is still a great sleeper, goes to bed early and takes great naps!
• If Lorelai is doing a puzzle she will do everything she possibly can to get to the pieces and it drives Lorelai crazy!
  

It is so fun to watch them play together, Lorelai is a good big sister and is always trying to help Reagan or make her laugh. Lorelai recently figured out how to climb into Reagan's crib so I find her there frequently when they wake up from their naps!

I can't believe Reagan is already 10 months, she is such a complete joy in our home and has so much happiness, we sure love our little girls!

Wagons and Snow!

Grandpa and Grandma Miller got the girls a wagon for Christmas and holy cow did they love it!

Unfortunately it's not the best weather for wagon rides, so we ride around in the garage and even though we are just going in circles they could do it all day long!

Lorelai even found a seat for her baby doll!

One day it was just too cold outside and Lorelai really wanted to ride the wagon so instead we brought it in the kitchen and let her eat lunch in it, that made her day!



Should have posted this way before Christmas but here it is, our first
chance to play in the snow this Winter!

Preston was trying to teach Lorelai how to make snowballs and throw them at me!

We had a great Christmas this year and loved being able to go home and see all the family, can't wait to see everyone again!

6 Months

Reagan is already 6 months old and it's gone by so fast!

We always thought Lorelai was the happiest baby in the world, until we had Reagan.

She always has a smile and such a contagious laugh!

Stats:

Weight: 13lbs 3 oz (10%)

Height: 25 3/4 in. (50%)

Head Circ: 42 1/2 cm. (60%)

She can now roll over both ways, for a long time she would get about 3/4 of the way to her tummy then just hang out.

She has even more hair than Lorelai did, here she is sportin' some pigtails. I think there is a chance her hair will actually stay brown, her eyes are no longer blue, they are kind of a brown color.

She took to rice cereal pretty well, and does not have patience when it comes to eating. The second she sees a bottle being prepared or cereal being made she lets you know she is impatiently waiting!

She is getting much better at sitting up by herself and is anxious to be able to crawl but hasn't quite figured out how to make her legs do that yet. She really doesn't appreciate when I put a toy out in front of her, just out of reach!

She loves her big sister the most and Lorelai loves having her around! Lorelai is always looking out for Reagan, if Reagan is ever crying Lorelai is right there telling me what she thinks Reagan wants!

We love our happy, tiny, sweet little girl!
