She can definitely get where she wants to go, especially if one of our phones or one of gizmo's toys is within sight on the ground. Notice the tongue at the beginning, she must have got that from Aunt Tara!

How cute are these little sandals!
We are so excited the weather has finally warmed up and we don't have to bundle up Lorelai before we go anywhere, now it's all sandals and shorts!
On Sunday I was feeding Lorelai and she was making it way harder than usual! Every time I put the spoon in her mouth she would grab onto it and then when I would try to take it to get another bite she would throw a fit. So I decided to give her her own spoon, this worked for maybe two bites when she decided she wanted both spoons and started throwing a fit to get the other one. Plus she wanted to have both spoons in her mouth at the same time along with one of her hands. Food was everywhere but in her mouth and finally I pretty much lost it and just put the bowl of food up to her mouth and let her eat straight from it as if she were drinking from a cup, of course that made an even bigger mess for me to clean up, but she really enjoyed that method of eating!

The other day I put Lorelai down on her tummy and set her little stuffed duck just out of her reach to see if she would try to get it. She quickly figured out she couldn't reach it, but that didn't stop her...
Yay for Lorelai's first attempt at crawling (or scooting)!

We've decided it's time, we're making our blog private very soon. Therefore I would appreciate it if you all would either email me your email address or leave it in the comments a.s.a.p. Thanks! emilyhouse05@hotmail.com.

She insists on helping hold the spoon whenever I feed her and also insists on having one of her hands in her mouth along with the spoon and the food! Oh, the fun we have!
Lorelai loves Gizmo, evertime she sees him she gets a big smile, he has also taken pretty well to her, sometimes he is a little nervous and other times he tries to get right up in her face and lick her. She likes to pull his hair and he doesn't seem to mind. I think they are going to be good friends!

As you can see here is Gizmo in the bathtub. I have no explanation. Every now and then when we are in the bathroom getting ready he just jumps in and sits there and watches us, I don't know why.
It finally feels like spring here, so yesterday we got out in the yard and did a little clean up for the first time since winter began. Actually, we first paid a kid in the ward to mow the lawn, then we did the rest. Since our yard isn't very big we should probably do it ourselves, but then we'd have to buy a lawn mower, maybe next year. These pictures don't really do justice to what we did. We actually pulled out a few ugly bushes and replaced them with new ones, planted some flowers and threw down new bark and some new rocks. I must say I thought we did pretty good!
Yeah, these really are the highlights of our lives right now!
