Cute little Lorelai!
She gets cuter everyday and she definitely gets bigger everyday!
We just bought her a pod seat and she likes it, but she is still a little small for it. When we put her in it her head usually falls to the side.
So tired, but cried every time we put her down.

Every time I lay a blanket out on the ground and put Lorelai on it, Gizmo thinks he is supposed to be on it as well.

Once a blonde, always a blonde
So I went to Walmart the other day for groceries, etc. I did all my shopping, got in line, the grocery checker got about half my groceries checked when I began digging in my purse for my wallet. It was at this moment when it hit me; after taking my wallet out of my purse earlier that day, because I needed my debit card for a bill I was paying online, I never put it back. I simply set it on the counter next to the garage door thinking I would grab it on my way out. Well, I didn't grab it, I walked right past it. So here I was standing in Walmart with $60 worth of groceries, a line behind me and no way to pay for any of it. Ya, I was a little embarrased, the girl behind me just smiled and said, "don't worry it's happened to me before." Luckily Preston was on his way home from work and just about to pass Walmart, so he came to my rescue and was kind enough to refrain from making fun of me.
Growing up I was famous for my many blonde moments, so this story is for all of you who always took pleasure in those moments. While I feel I have grown out of that stage of my life, don't worry, I still have my moments.

2007
This last year was such a wonderful year for our family. We were given so many blessings, opportunities and unforgetable experiences. We can't express our gratitude for all that we have and have been given. Here are just a few of the many highlights that took place in 2007:
-Lorelai our beautiful baby girl was born (allowing Emily to be a stay-at-home mom, and loving every minute of it!)
-2 brother-in-laws were added to the family(Brandon and Adrian; you guys are awesome)
-2 nephews and 1 niece also were added to the family(Daxon, Deacon, and Brooklyn; oh so cute)
-We started "A Step Up Investments" (Preston's real estate business)
-Our Meridian Papa John's location opened
-Stephen was able to baptize his wife Tara and daughter Sara (Our good friends and biz partner; we're so happy for you guys!)
-We bought Preston's Honda Element (sadly we said goodbye to the WRX)
-We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary
-Our 5&6 year old primary kids memorized all of their Articles of Faith (almost)
-And so many other precious blessings in which we will always be grateful for!
The list could go on and on, I am positive I have left out many things, but the point is we have so much in our lives to be grateful for. 2007 was a great year, we are looking forward to all that 2008 has to offer!

Store #5
Yesterday we opened our fifth store! Preston and his partners have been working very hard to get the store opened by the end of the year and they barely made it happen. It is located in Meridian, which is on the west edge of Boise. As long as this store opens well, we will soon begin plans for the next store. I am so proud of my amazing husband. Each day is like a new challenge for him, he is constantly trying to increase his knowledge in the business world and use that to better his business. He strives to inspire his employees and accomplish new goals daily. I love watching him work and hearing about how his days go because I can tell how much he enjoys what he does. Thanks also to everyone who has been supporting us along the way, we attribute much of our success to you guys!
